Big News! Pest is launching on Gamefound on August 27th! 🎉 We’re thrilled to bring you this next step in our journey and are so happy to be doing this again with you, our wonderful Pest community!

New Gamefound Campaign Coming Soon!
We're excited to announce that we'll be launching a new Gamefound campaign very soon!
This campaign will feature:
A New Expansion: We're adding new content to enrich your Pest experience. Join forces with the Empire and the guilds of Thokaia to delve into the heart of the plague, researching its secrets and vulnerabilities. Will you rise to the challenge and secure a future free from the shadow of the epidemic?
2nd Edition of the Game: An enhanced and more streamlined version of the game! For all of you who already have the 1st edition of this campaign, don't worry. We have covered you with an upgrade pack that will upgrade your copy to the 2nd edition!
Fix Pack: Addressing the capital city miniature and red player pieces issue, this pack will offer a new city miniature and another set of red player pieces.
And More!: We have a few more surprises up our sleeves, so stay tuned!

Fulfillment Update + Canada Duty Charge Info

We have great news!
As you have probably heard, fulfillment in the US and CA has commenced! It will most likely roll out through this week and hopefully end by the next week! We hope you all enjoy your copies as they arrive!
Thank you for your patience regarding the fulfillment of Pest for US and CA. We really appreciate your support and understanding and hope you had a smooth delivery process.
Canada Duty Charge Info
That being said, we are aware that the Canadian backers have been asked to pay duty charges. We sincerely apologize for this as this was not the plan. We offered friendly shipping to Canada (as we always have) and we intend to keep our promise.
Flat River Group, our fulfillment partner informed us that this happened due to a glitch in their system. I would also like to apologize in their name too, as they also expressed sincere apologies for the inconvenience that this glitch has caused to our backers.
Archona Games will refund all duty charges
We will refund all duty charges that each Canadian backer has paid to get their copy.
In order to refund you for the duty charges, please send us a request to [email protected] with the following information:

Email text: - Backer Name - Backer Number - Backer Email - Duty Charge total (in Canadian Dollars) - Your paypal address (so we can refund you the sum via Paypal) - Any additional info you think might be important

Fufillment Update and Addressing Issues

Greetings, plague doctors! We hope you are all doing well.
First of all, allow us to express how excited we are that you have started receiving your copies and playing the game! We are happy to see all of you enjoying the world of Pest and immersing in the gameplay. Truly for us, this is one of the happiest moments, when we see our backers enjoying the games and worlds that we made.
With that said, it's time for another update so let's dig in.
Fulfillment Update
We are happy to report that fulfillment for AU, EU, and UK has been completed! Again, we are happy to hear from backers in these regions that their copies have arrived safe and sound. Now, onto the other regions:
USA/Canada Due to commercial challenges, there has been a delay in the delivery to our US and Canada backers. Unfortunately, the quotes that we got from QML for the fulfillment of this project were not close to our estimates when we started the pledge manager, so we had to look for alternatives.
The games are now being transported to our partners at Flat River Group for fulfillment. We have utter confidence in Flat River Group for the fulfillment of this project as we already work with them on the distribution of our games in the US, and we already have a great working relationship.
We understand the anticipation, and we sincerely apologize for the delay. We want to assure you that we are working as fast as possible to get Pest on your tables as soon as possible!
Asia We have arranged for our partner and manufacturer of Pest - SkyGame, to undertake fulfillment to our Asia backers and are aiming to get the orders out before Chinese New Year. This roughly means that the orders should start arriving in a few weeks.
Replacements If you have any issues with your copies (besides the Capital City and the Red player color, which we will get to later in this update), please feel free to email us at [email protected], and we will sort it out as soon as possible.
Capital City Miniature
Thank you for your feedback regarding the Capital City miniature issues.
First of all, let us reassure you that we have heard you loud and clear and share your views on this. We are committed to finding a permanent solution to address the quality of the Capital City miniature.
We have discussed the issue with our manufacturer and found that there were issues due to the heating and cooling of the PVC plastic components during the mass manufacturing process that may have led to this.
Additionally, the mass-manufactured plastic components are lighter due to their hollow nature and different from the original 3D printed samples we originally received, which were solid blocks and were not heated during manufacturing, so naturally, they didn't warp and were easily attached to each other.
We understand the disappointment this may have caused and want to assure you that we are actively working with the manufacturer to resolve this problem during the next print run of Pest, possibly by re-engineering how the components fit together. We are also looking for other solutions and ideas at the moment, but we ask for your patience as we look into this further.
3d Print Files of the Base Available
In the meantime, we are making the 3D printable file of the base of the capital city available to whoever would like to 3D print for themselves. You can download the STL files at the link here.
Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Our team is working diligently to rectify the situation, and we are confident that we will deliver a product that meets your expectations.
