Each interaction on that page helps us gain visibility, so you're doing us a great favor by engaging with us in that space. Many of you have been with us for a very long time, but we think there are many others that will enjoy Pest, and additional exposure from things like the hotness on BGG will help us reach those people!

We'd also like to address a few things that have come up in the comments, and we expect others to have similar questions:
Why no stretch goals?
We understand that there's been an expectation that's created for stretch goals during a campaign. What we don't like about that system is it doesn't allow you to present the game as complete from day one. Instead, it forces you to bleed pieces out a few days at a time. We wanted to show our backers real value right from the start, so we put a vast majority of things we had tabbed for stretch goals into the box from day one (including the free Capital City miniature pack!).
With the help of many, we believe Pest to be something truly special, and we want to show everyone how special it is right from the start. We do have some upgrades we are already considering for the campaign, and we are still waiting to hear back on costs. If we can fit those upgrades in under our budget, we'll add them directly to the campaign with no stretch goal mark required. We hope you trust us to be able to decide what’s best for the game.
Do you ship to my country?
YES! We will attempt to make every delivery possible for this campaign. We do have hubs around the world that will help make this possible. If you don't see your country listed, it falls under the Rest Of World shipping rate. A reminder that the price you see are estimates, and the final shipping charge will be calculated in the pledge manager.
Will VAT be collected?
Yes, as mentioned in the campaign, in compliance with the EU and UK laws, VAT and UK tax will be charged in the pledge manager after the campaign ends.
March of 2024? Why so long before we get Pest in our hands?
We love your enthusiasm. However, the manufacturing chain is still recovering from the past two years. We are trying to be realistic rather than make promises that are more like hopes. There are also two Chinese New Year windows during our fulfillment timeline, so we tried to take this into account.
“That's a MASSIVE board!”
Yes, it is! We wanted to show off the empire in as much detail as possible. However, we are aware of the "table hog" concerns, and we are working on finding solutions regarding this.
What about the rulebook?
We have shared the rulebook in the campaign, so we can continue to gather feedback from important people (like our backers!) as we continue to refine it and make it as great as possible. It's definitely far from a final product, so please do take a look and share your thoughts with us!
Will there be a Solo Mode?
We know there is a vibrant and enthusiastic solo gaming community. Because of this, we are investigating the possibility of a solo mode. It's a bit too early to tell if it wil be possible (we want to make sure it's a GOOD solo mode, not just one to lure you in), but we will keep everyone in the loop if we reach a point where we feel it's a possibility.

Whew! That's a lot to cover, and a lot of this will now be added to the FAQ as well for easy reference, but we wanted to answer the most common questions we've seen across all platforms.
Now, what to expect from us communication-wise: We are going to be sharing updates frequently during the campaign. Some will be critical information about the campaign, some will be lore to pull you into the world of Pest. So be on the lookout for that. Not all will be as long-winded as this one of course!
